Climbed Sat 29th November 2008

Climbed with Emma on a weekend away in Keswick. Started at -1.5C at valley level, by the top I was in a t-shirt even though snow was all around us! Was a difficult climb following the line up from the parking spot near the quarry at the base of the fell.

The start of the walk at the little car park near Scawgill Bridge, very cold at this level so we wrapped up very warm

Inspite of it being below zero it was T-shirts at the top as we tried to work out where the summit was

Our first attempt at the summit picture, though we worked out that the summit was 100 yards to my left

Looking west to the Cumbria coast and the Irish Sea

Well the GPS says that it is here but the book says that we should be over there!

I could not care less if this is the top or not, just give me more coffee

This is the actual top now! next stop will be Broom Fell.
