Climbed Sun 1st June 2008

Climbed on another weekend without Tom, a quick nip up from the car park at Blea Tarn to reach the top and get another tick. Great views from the top though the weather was starting to close in as we reached the summit and the rain increased as we made our way down again.
A good end to a great weekend though.

Highfield Hotel, Keswick
Another great place to stay in Keswick. Best not eat too much during the day as the food is just amazing, fantastic views from the front rooms of the hotel down the Borrowdale valley.

Boot Inn, Boot Cumbria
Great out of the way place to stay in the Lakes, but it is a bit of a trek to get to.

Mortal Man
Fantastic hotel in the Troutbeck valley, excellent food, beer and views. Plus no mobile signal.
